Who: Ashley McBryde, Nashville North, 10 p.m.

One of country music’s biggest stars, Ashley McBryde will be landing in Calgary as part of her Devil You Know tour. That album came out in 2023 and earned positive reviews. Billboard said the songs “that govern the new album glean lessons from McBryde’s four decades of life.” It’s a journey that has taken her from early gigs at biker bars to Grammy and CMA wins.

An electronic festival that runs downtown during Stampede, the Badlands Music Festival offers a significant departure from the twang. Over 10 days, an all-star lineup of DJs and EDM stars. That includes Thomas Wesley, the country moniker for American DJ Diplo.
